肉粉是以新鲜的动物皮、和乱肉从油脂提炼中得到的固态蛋白质物质做原料,不含血、骨头和其他外来物质,色泽金黄色带褐色,有新鲜的肉味感。不同的原料对所生产的肉粉颜色有差异,但对消化率没有影响,不同地区原料的质量可能有差异。肉粉在饲料中可长期使用,可作为家禽、家畜,许多特殊动物,一些品种的鱼和宠物配合饲料的蛋白质来源。肉粉为黄褐色至棕褐色粉状物,由屠宰厂副产品(碎肉、皮及皮下脂肪、肌腱、器官等)经蒸煮挤压后,控温、灭菌、脱脂、膨化而成。产品肉香味浓,诱食性强,流动性好,氨基酸比例平衡,必需氨基酸含量高,维生素B类含量丰富,且含有动物未知生长因子,是优质动物蛋白来源。
